Wilma W. Campbell, 91, of Washington, Iowa died Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the M.L. McCreedy Home in Washington.

Celebration of life services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Redhage officiating. Visitation will begin 9:00 a.m. Monday at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. Monday. Interment will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Memorials have been established to the M.L. McCreedy Home or to Bethel Presbyterian Church. Wilma was born June 3, 1920 in Washington, Iowa the daughter of James and Edna (Neiswanger) Thompson. She graduated from Washington High School in 1938. On December 20, 1944, Wilma was united in marriage to Mark G. Campbell in Washington, Iowa.

Wilma was a life resident of Washington County. She was a proud homemaker and assisted her husband with the family farm north of Washington. Wilma was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Friendship Club. Wilma was an excellent cook and was known for her angel food cake recipe.

She is survived by her son Douglas Campbell and wife Terri of Urbandale, Iowa; her daughter Bonnie Bradbury and husband Hank of Marshalltown, Iowa; two granddaughters Amy Redhage and husband Rev. Daniel of Centerville, South Dakota, and Emily Bradbury of Dickinson, North Dakota; and three great-grandchildren: David, Sarah, and Michael Redhage.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Mark in 1992, and brothers Marion "Tommy" Thompson, Lester Thompson, Stanley Thompson, and Rev. Milan Thompson.
