William L. Tuttle, age 60, of Washington, Iowa, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at his residence in Washington.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 27th at Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington. Interment will be private. A general memorial has been established. Online condolences may be sent for William's family through the web at www.jonesfh.com

William was born January 3, 1954 in Washington, Iowa, the son of Truman Edwin and Margaret Elizabeth (Stewart) Tuttle. He was a graduate of Washington High School and Kirkwood Community College and attended classes at the University of Iowa. William was a phlebotomist at the University of Iowa for several years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. William was a loving father and grandfather.

William is survived by his daughter, Megan Watson and husband Derek of Keota, IA; grandson, Ike Watson of Keota, IA; brother, James Tuttle and wife Deborah of Longmont, CO; sister, Kathy Melton and husband Steve of St. Peters, MO; and two aunts, Kathryn Williams and Helen Monnier of Oxnard, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, James Melton.
