Obituary
Wilbur Gene Nicholson, age 94, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Monday, December 25, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hospital.
Interment will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. A general memorial has been established. Jones & Eden Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences by be sent for Wilbur's family through the web at www.jonesfh.com
Wilbur was born November 1, 1923 in Washington, Iowa, the son of Walter and Opal (Edwards) Nicholson. He owned a fruit stand south of Washington on Highway 1.
Wilbur is survived by one son, William Nicholson of Iowa City, Iowa.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
