Vicki L. Maddox, age 77, of Burlington, Iowa, passed away Monday, June 15, 2020 at Pearl Valley Rehab of Washington.

Vicki was born February 25, 1943 in Burlington, Iowa, the daughter of Robert Ogborne and Louise LaVon (Bachell) Giles. She graduated from Burlington High School and from Iowa Wesleyan College with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Vicki was united in marriage to Albert "Sonny" Maddox on December 10, 1960 in Burlington.

Vicki worked for Geode Quarry for many years as a weigh master. She was a member of Grace Methodist Church where she enjoyed Sunday Morning Children's Chat with her dog Marley. Vicki loved her farm, fishing, watching nature and all animals. She enjoyed traveling, helping others, political activities and Sunday drives. She was an avid genealogist who loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Robert (Kimberley) Maddox of Henderson, NV; daughter, Robin (Stephanie) Maddox of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Rochelle "Shelly" Maddox of Livingston, LA; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra Kay Brunk of Burlington, IA; sister, Teri Vonna Bates; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son, Rusty Maddox.
