Tina May Murphy, age 77, of Washington, Iowa, died Monday, March 13, 2023, at Banner Baywood Heart Hospital in Mesa, Arizona.

Memorial services will be held 1:30 pm Sunday, April 16th, 2023 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Lebowski's in Washington, Iowa, from 3:00 pm – 5 pm Sunday for a time of food and fellowship. Tina May Murphy was born on May 10th, 1945, in Orange, California, the daughter of Harvey Earl and Jeanette Gertrude (Kelly) Gesling. She graduated from Ainsworth High School in Ainsworth, Iowa. Tina was united in marriage to Harold Murphy on July 2nd, 2010, at Butterfly Beach in Santa Barbara, California.

Tina loved going to the beach and socializing with friends. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, golfing, but especially spending time with her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Murphy of Washington, Iowa; daughter, Joanee (Larry) Clark of Letts, Iowa; son, Scott Davis of Washington, Iowa; daughter, Wendy Davis of Columbia, Missouri; daughter, Raquel (Chris) Decker of Brooklyn, Iowa; step-son, Patrick (Cynthia) Murphy of Santa Barbara, California; step-daughter, Tracy (Tom) Wendorf of Scottsdale, Arizona. 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.

Tina was proceeded in death by her parents and brother, Tom Gesling.
