Timothy Charles "Tim" Hauser, age 59, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at his home unexpectedly.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton. Calling hours will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at St. James Catholic Church in Washington where the family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening. Tim was born November 21, 1958 in Joliet, Illinois, the son of Charles "Bob" and Jean E. (Knapp) Hauser. He attended school in Washington and was united in marriage to Arlene Roberts on November 28, 1976 in Pleasant Plain, Iowa.

Tim worked for Crane Valve in Washington for many years and most recently worked for Engineer Building Design in Washington. He was a Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed fishing, attending football games, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene Hauser of Washington, IA; daughter, Jennifer Hauser of Marion, IA; son, Jeremy Hauser and wife Anita of Kansas City, MO; son, Rob Hauser and wife Ashley of Conrad, IA; grandchildren: Dylan, C.J., Madison, Braden, Jamari, Payton and Brooklyn; and sister, Patti Hauser of Mesa, AZ.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents.
