Terry James Walker, age 65, of Tangent, Oregon, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 in Salem, Oregon following a sudden illness.

A visitation will be held Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington. A private interment will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery. Terry was born December 17, 1951 in Washington, Iowa, the son of Thomas Edward and Dorothy Ann (Hotle) Walker. He graduated from Washington High School in 1970.

Terry worked for Lawn & Leisure, Northrup King Seeds and WaConDa Soil Service. He moved to Oregon in 1987 where he worked in Corvallis at the Seed Research Plant, CHS Inc., and most recently for DLF Pickseed Inc. Terry was very family oriented and enjoyed spending time outdoors.

He is survived by his sister, Bonnie Parriott and husband Cliff of Davenport, Iowa; sister, Bette Greiner and husband Joe of Washington, Iowa; nephew, Eric Parriott of Los Angeles, CA; niece, Angie Kersten and husband Kelly of Davenport, IA; nephew, Josh Greiner and wife Jennifer of Washington, IA; and niece, Abby Vanderweide and husband Nathan of Washington, IA.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
