Obituary

Teddy Fuller, age 67, of Ainsworth, Iowa, died Friday, August 4, 2017, at the University of Iowa Hospital following a sudden accident.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 11th, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home with Fr. Bernie Weir officiating. Calling hours will begin noon Thursday at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday. Interment will take place at a later date at the Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa. A general memorial has been established. Teddy was born January 30, 1950, in Osceola, Iowa, the son of Adrian and Irene (Kepple) Fuller. He attended Clarke Community Schools in Osceola and graduated from high school in 1968. He joined the United States Army in 1970 and served in the Vietnam War.

Teddy has lived in the Ainsworth and Columbus Junction communities the past 23 years. He worked in construction doing bridge work, and later drove a semi truck. He was united in marriage with Lucyluz Gerones on July 31, 2010. He most recently worked at Innovairre in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. He enjoyed collecting Native American artifacts, mushrooming, and hunting. Teddy enjoyed going to the shooting range and going for motorcycle rides. He especially enjoyed attending social events with family and friends and he loved to dance.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy Fuller of Ainsworth, Iowa; daughter, Cecelia Loy and husband Zachery of Murray, Iowa; 2 grandsons, Bryson Fuller and Connor Loy; step children, Kiry Kim and Karlyn Job of the Phillipines and step grandchildren, Misael Jake, Ted Zyrus, Zyde Luis and Zydrick Frank. He is also survived by three sisters, Susan Muller of Osceola, Iowa; Kathy Cole and husband Steve of Clive, Iowa; and Mary Conway and husband Pat of Ft. Collins, Colorado; as well as numerous nieces nephews and cousins.

Teddy was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Nancy.
