Stanlee Allison Schrock, age 53, of Altoona, Iowa, died Sunday, January 29, 2023, in Altoona after failing in health since September.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023, at St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Bernie Weir officiating. Calling hours will begin 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 3rd at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home where the family will be present to receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Prayer services will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home. Interment will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Memorials have been established for St. James Church or Hospice of the Midwest. Stanlee was born September 11, 1969, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Stanley E. and Abigail (Perez) Schrock. He attended school in Des Moines and graduated from Southeast Polk High School. He was a life resident of Altoona.

Stanlee worked for Wells Fargo in Des Moines for 26 years where he was currently the IT Manager. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church. While Stanlee was growing up, he was a Boy Scout and enjoyed playing soccer. He later played on a Men's Slow Pitch Softball team and enjoyed golfing. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan and was a longtime season ticket holder for Iowa Football. Stanlee traveled to many Bowl games to cheer on the Hawkeyes.

He is survived by his mother, Abigail Schrock of Kalona, Iowa; sister, Stacey Schrock of Des Moines, Iowa; brother, Sean Schrock of Perry, Iowa; nephew Zack Schrock and niece Stephannie Schrock as well as many cousins.

Stanlee was preceded in death by his father in 2013.
