Kay Savaidis, age 66, passed away Wednesday March 17, 2021 at Washington County Hospital following a sudden illness.

Private family graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at Elm Grove Cemetery with Pastor Kwang Song officiating. Calling hours will begin 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 23rd, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home where the family will be present to receive friends from 5:00 – 6:30 pm. Kay was born April 21, 1954 in Pennington Gap, VA. She met her husband and love of her life Mario at a factory they both worked at in New Jersey. They moved to Ohio for several years and then to Iowa where they owned and operated Dino's Pizza and Steakhouse for 41 years. Kay enjoyed quilting, shopping and going out to eat. She loved animals and spending time with family and friends.

Kay is survived by her husband Mario Savaidis; daughter Maria Savaidis and fiancé Gabe DeForest; son Matthew Savaidis and wife Betsy and their daughter Elaina; and one sister, Angela Clark.

She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother, Michael Clark.
