Scott David Tower, age 48, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 at Pearl Valley Rehabilitation and Care Center in Washington, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Scott David Tower was born December 4, 1967, in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Lawrence and Susan (Cox) Tower. He attended school in Manito, Illinois.

Scott has resided in Washington, Iowa for the past five years. Prior to moving to Washington, he lived in Tucson, Arizona. Scott worked in the carpentry and construction business. He loved working with wood, playing the guitar and entertaining friends.

He is survived by his 3 children: Alexzandria Tuggle, Madason Tuggle and Scott Tower, all of Brighton, Iowa; mother, Susan Kerschner of Pekin, Illinois; brother, Lawrence Tower Jr. of Pekin, Illinois; sister, Lourie Tower of Centerville, Iowa; brother, James Tower of Manito, Illinois; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
