Scott James Karr, age 69, of West Chester, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, under hospice care.

Memorial services with military honors will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Wellman Cemetery in Wellman, Iowa. Online condolences may be sent for Scott's family at www.jonesfh.com .

Scott was born September 16, 1955, the son of Frank and Ruth (Smith) Karr.

Scott served honorably in the United States Army from 1972 until 1975 and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. Scott spent his retirement doing the things he liked. He went fishing when he was could and spent his non fishing days visiting with friends. He was the best fur baby dad to his beloved little dog, Dixie. He took Dixie everywhere he went. Dixie and the rest of his family and friends will miss Scott very much.
