Sandra Lee "Sandy" Robinson, age 82, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, following a brief illness.

A memorial visitation will take place from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home. Memorials have been established for American Heart Association or American Kidney Foundation. Online condolences may be sent for Sandy's family at www.jonesfh.com .

Sandy was born September 29, 1942, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Samuel Pettavino and Betty J. Dawson. She was united in marriage to Wayne David "Red" Robinson on June 24, 1961, in Washington, Iowa.

Sandy was a lifelong resident of Washington. She worked for McCleery Cumming Calendar Factory for many years. An avid bowler, Sandy belonged to several bowling leagues in town. She enjoyed gardening and attending her grandchildren's events.

She is survived by her daughter, Teri (Doug) Russell of Riverside, Iowa; daughter, Kris (Brenda) Robinson of Washington, Iowa; son, Jake Robinson of Ottumwa, Iowa; four grandchildren: Erin Sparks, Jamie Campbell, Jessica Kelley, and Dylan White; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Marilyn Jewell of Washington, Iowa.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Betty Ward; husband, Red Robinson; and son, Timothy Robinson.
