Rose Yanausch, age 87, of Washington, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020 at her residence.

Rose was born October 27, 1932 in Missouri, the daughter of Samuel and Mamie (Gray) Patrick. She was united in marriage to Ernest Haifley and they later divorced. She married Larry Yanausch who preceded her in death.
Rose worked as a cashier at Hy-Vee for many years. She also worked at the Conoco Gas Station. Rose enjoyed getting her nails done, shopping, trips to the casino and drag racing.
She is survived by her children: Brad Haifley of Washington, IA; Patrick Haifley and wife Tracey of Washington, IA; Trish Knerr and Ray Hill of Solon, IA; and Cindy McAtee and husband Ron of MO; grandchildren: Megan (Blake) Albright, Kaleb Haifley, Kylie Haifley, Jesse Knerr, Tasha Knerr, Bradley (Lauren) Haifley, Dodi (Eric) Olson, Daniel (Shannon) McAtee, Duane McAtee, David McAtee, Kati Faupel (Hannah Boyd) and Tyler Faupel (Destynii Walling); and several great-grandchildren.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Ernest; husband, Larry; and brother, Carl.
