Robert Lee Randall, age 86, of Washington, Iowa, died Monday, February 21, 2022, at his residence under hospice care.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2022, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home with Aaron Carpenter officiating. The family will be present to receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Interment will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Robert was born January 16, 1936, in Washington, Iowa, the son of Clarence and Mae (Tucker) Randall. He attended school in Washington and graduated from Washington High School in 1955. Bob was united in marriage to Mary E. Dillavou on June 15, 1958, in Washington.
Bob was a life long resident of Washington, Iowa. He owned and operated Randall's Autobody in Washington for several years. He previously worked as a foreman at Crane Valve Company and worked as a mechanic at Perdock Motors. He enjoyed watching Westerns, bowling and attending car auctions. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye sports fan and enjoyed the time he spent at Lending Hands.
He is survived by his son, Randy Randall of Washington, Iowa; daughter, Carmen Jones of Coralville, Iowa; six grandchildren: Rebecca Randall and fiancé Breann Thompson; Shane Espinosa; Derek Randall and wife Bree; Aaron Randall; Robert Wesley Jones III and wife Stephanie; Molly Ibbotson and husband Lee; and three great grandchildren: Ryker, Colson and Lilah.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mary in 2000; and three siblings, Cora Mae Sabin, Clarence Randall Jr., and Claude Randall.
