Robert "Bobby Wayne" Milford, age 72, of Wellman, Iowa, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City with his loved ones beside him.

Celebration of life services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington. Calling hours will begin noon Friday, November 29, 2019 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date. Bob was born January 11, 1947 in Centerville, Iowa, the son of Ray Roy and Bessie Leota (Van Blaircom) Milford. He attended school in Missouri. Bob was united in marriage to Betty Trimble on August 19, 1972 in Ottumwa, Iowa. They later divorced.

Bob worked for Crane Valve for over 30 years. In his earlier years, Bob enjoyed running the town of Livonia, fishing and taking his family to the figure 8's. He enjoyed spending time with those he cared about, helping others and driving around. It was a rare occasion to visit him and not find him napping or playing his mind challenging computer games. Due to his stubborn nature, you wouldn't want to challenge him in an argument because he was always "right" even when he was wrong and there was no convincing him otherwise.

He is survived by his children: Brenda Milford (Jamie Flynn) of Washington, IA; Barbie (Curt) Miller of Oskaloosa, IA; Brandy (Zac) Vanderpol of Ottumwa, IA; and Robert Milford. Jr. (Kim Smith) of Mexico, MO; grandchildren: Amber Dittrich, Dustin (Heaven) Dittrich, Kayla Miller (Jeremy Kleese), Curtis Miller, Kaleb Miller, Aidan Milford, Braxton Milford, Damean Wenman, Blade Milford, Rylee Bringman and Mystic Bringman; great-grandchildren: Bailey and Blaine Sams and Lukas and Greyson Dittrich; sister, Lois Vest of Washington, IA; and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Bobbie Milford; grandson, James Miller; five brothers; nine sisters; and significant other, Sharyle Denison.
