Robert J."Bob" Fritz, age 63, of Washington, Iowa, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Washington County Hospital after a sudden illness.

In celebration of Bob's life, the family will receive friends at Jones & Eden Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 31st. Private family interment will take place at a later date. Bob was born October 2, 1950, in Washington, Iowa, the son of Raymond and Hazel Marie (Stalder) Fritz. He graduated from Washington High School in 1968. He was united in marriage to Annette Whittaker on July 5, 1974 in Washington, Iowa.

Bob worked in sales for Yoder Feed and Dekalb Feed for over 35 years. He previously owned and operated Fritz's Trap in Washington, Iowa. Bob enjoyed golfing, fishing, reading and spending time with his family.

He is survived by wife, Annette Fritz of Washington, IA; daughter, Linda Fritz of Coralville, IA; daughter, Sara Fritz of Chicago, IL; two grandsons, Max Hill and Luke Fritz; brother, Ted Fritz and wife Julie of Beardstown, IL; sister, Marge Richards and husband Jack of Grinnell, IA; sister, Linda Leyden and husband Roger of Washington, IA.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Thomas and Michael Fritz.
