Robert Kelvin Brinning, 87, of Washington died Sunday, July 28, 2024, at his home.
Robert was born August 6, 1936, in Stanley, Wisconsin, the son of Homer and Alma (Kuehni) Brinning. He graduated from West Chester High School. He served in the United States Army for four years. On September 1, 1959, Robert was united in marriage to Cherry Luckenbill. He farmed in the Washington community and was a welder. Robert enjoyed traveling and was a collector of many things especially toy tractors.
Robert is survived by a son, Tim (Angie) Brinning of Washington, daughter, Beth (Phil) Hyde of Washington; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and sister Bonnie Richardson of Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Cherry in 2006, daughter Susan Brinning, sister Karen Kay Brinning, and brother Richard Brinning.
Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Jones Eden Funeral Home. A private family funeral service will be held on Thursday. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. A general memorial fund has been established. The Jones Eden Funeral Home is caring for Robert and his family.
