Robert Eugene "Zeke" Bodzislaw, age 84, of Washington, Iowa, died Friday, June 2, 2023, at Belle Plaine Specialty Care in Belle Plaine, Iowa.

Celebration of life services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2023, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home with Fr. Bernie Weir officiating. The family will be present to receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Military honors will be accorded following the services. Interment will take place at a later date. Robert was born December 14, 1938, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, the son of Joseph and Cecelia (Losinski) Bodzislaw. He attended school in Stevens Point. Robert served honorably in the United States Air Force from 1957 until 1959 and then served in the Iowa National Guard until 1982.

He was an over the road truck driver for many years. Bob previously lived in Lake Preston, South Dakota, before moving to Washington, Iowa in 2016. He enjoyed participating in the National Veteran's TEE Tournament at the Riverside Golf Resort.

Robert is survived by his wife, Lindy Snider of Washington, Iowa; son, Mark Bodzislaw of Florida; brother, Jerry Bodzislaw of Stevens Point, Wisconsin; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Thomas and Gilbert Bodzislaw; and one sister, Patricia Brooks.
