Rhonda Sue Bodkins, age 61, of Washington, Iowa, died Friday, August 23, 2013 at her residence.

In celebration of Rhonda's life, the family will receive friends at the Marr Park Conservation Center beginning 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 5th. The family invites friends to bring a dish to pass and join them for a potluck dinner at noon. The Jones & Eden Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Rhonda was born July 17, 1952 the daughter of Richard and Darlene (Dusenberry) McKune. She attended school in Washington, Iowa. Rhonda was a life resident of Washington, Iowa and has resided at Autumn Park Apartments for the past nine years. She and her husband Steve Stanton have been together for the past 37 years.

Rhonda is survived by husband Steve Stanton of Washington, Iowa; son Clint Bodkins and wife Tina of Colfax, Iowa; daughter Ronette Wagner and husband Adam of Washington, Iowa; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; mother Darlene Stewart of Phoenix, Arizona; brother Tony McKune; sisters Mitzi McKune and Angel Gendvilas, all of Phoenix, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard McKune; step father, Charles "Mack" Stewart; and grandmother, Catherine Harris.
