Randy Roberts, age 52, passed away unexpectedly May 17, 2024 at his home in Melbourne, Florida.

Memorial services with military honors will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2024, at the West Chester Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends following the graveside service at the West Chester Heritage Building. The Jones & Eden Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Randy was born January 29, 1972 in Washington, Iowa, son of Carl and Rollene (Holmes) Roberts. Randy graduated from Mid Prairie High School and later Randy followed in his parents' footsteps by joining the United States Airforce in 1993 and became a Military Police Officer. Randy spent 60% of his time deployed overseas, he received multiple medals and honors for his service. After 21 years of service, he retired as a Master Sergeant from Patrick AirForce Base and remained in Melbourne, Florida.

Randy loved animals especially his dog Luna, he would post multiple pictures and videos of her on social media. Randy enjoyed doing things for others, painting, gardening,
and going on adventures.

Randy's was well known for his wealth of knowledge, his kindness to others, his humor, his infectious smile, and his deep conversations about life that will be missed by all.

He is survived by his sisters, Kathy Deao of Washington, Iowa; Laurie (Thomas) Bean of Columbus Junction, Iowa; his nieces and nephews; Shannon (Cory) Parker, Shawn (Becky) Roberts, Aaron (Colby) Deao, Adam Deao, Josh Veach, Rachel (Isaac) Hayes, and Paige Roberts; and 11 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Rollene Roberts, his brother John Roberts, and his brother- in-law Darrel Deao.
