Randy Lee Hamburg, age 45, of Brighton, Iowa died Monday, September 20, 2010 at the Washington County Hospital following a lifelong battle with Muscular Dystrophy.

Randy was born February 2, 1965 in Iowa City, Iowa. He graduated from Ft. Madison High School in 1983. He lived most of his life in the Ft. Madison area and has lived in Brighton since 2002.

He worked for WCDC in Washington for many years until health forced his early retirement. He participated in the Special Olympics in 1990. Randy loved fishing, listening to music, and watching professional wrestling.

He is survived by a step sister Rochelle Parker of Ft. Madison, Iowa; and a special friend Becky Waltman of Brighton, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and his grandparents.
