Randy James Brock, age 60, of Trenton, formerly of Washington, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 3, 2015 in the Henry County Health Care Center in Mt. Pleasant.

Calling hours will begin 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Randy was born July 16, 1954 in Washington, Iowa, the son of Lyle Sr. and Dolores (Tremmel) Brock. He was a Washington High School graduate. Randy was united in marriage to Kristi Droll on 11-11-11 at 11:11 a.m. in Coppock, Iowa.

Randy was the owner of Brock Construction. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, trapper and poker player. He enjoyed coffee talk at the Frontier Restaurant and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is most remembered for being funny, loving, caring and a true gentleman who would do anything for anyone. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Kristi Brock of Trenton, Iowa; son, Matt Brock of Washington, Iowa; son, Jason Brock and wife Jen of Ada, Oklahoma; son, Anthony Brock of Washington, Iowa; son, Andrew Brock of Washington, Iowa; step-daughter, Courtney White of Washington, Iowa; step-son, Brent White of Iowa City, Iowa; step-son, Curtis Cousins of Washington, Iowa; brother, Albert Brock and wife Ruth of Washington, Iowa; brother, Lyle Brock and Lisa of Washington, Iowa; brother, Lonnie Brock of Muscatine, Iowa; sister, Jody Adler and husband Richard of Lockridge, Iowa; ten grandchildren and nine nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother, Ardie Brock; and one sister, Brenda Brock.
