Paul Wayne Wiezorek Sr., age 85, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 31 at 3:30 pm at the Marion Avenue Baptist Church in Washington, Iowa. The family will be present to receive friends from 2:30-3:30.

Paul was born August 13, 1939, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Stanley and Margaret Wiezorek. Paul was married to Barbara on March 29, 2003.

He worked for many years at IBP/Tyson Foods in Columbus Junction, Iowa. He was a member of the Marion Avenue Baptist Church and enjoyed golfing, fishing, doing yard work and working with his hands.

Paul is survived by his wife, Barbara Wiezorek; daughter, Deanna Wiezorek; daughter, Vicky (Al) Kearney; and step children Tammy (Scott) Bushnell; and William (Lisa) Headlee. He is also survived by grandchildren: Tammy Wiezorek, Cody and Casey Bushnell, and Austin,
Alex, Anthony, and Connor Headlee.
