Patricia Ann Edwards, age 78, of Coralville, Iowa, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the Lantern Park Specialty Care Center in Coralville.

Celebration of life services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2020 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington with Pastor Mike Barr officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home. A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society. Patricia was born November 4, 1941 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Roy and Irene (Carriker) Nelson. She attended school in Washington County, Iowa. Patricia was united in marriage to Wilbur Westen in 1958 in Washington. They later divorced. She married Daniel Edwards in Reno, Nevada. They also divorced.

Patricia worked as a Nurses Aide for Washington County Hospital and also at Old Country Buffet and Taco Johns in Coralville. She was a great cook and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Dan Westen of Coralville, IA; five grandchildren: Michael, Amanda (Ruben), Derek (Amanda), Travis (Jessica) and Matthew; twelve great-grandchildren: Caleb, Faith, Daniel, Rosie, Rubey, Marlina, Angel, Drake, Elijah, Alexis, Samantha and Trevor; daughter-in-law, Korri Westen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Jerry and Tim Westen; three brothers, one sister, and daughter-in-law, Susan Westen.
