Marzell “Mellow” Windham Jr., age 62, of Wellman, Iowa, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Parkview Manor in Wellman while under hospice care.

Mellow was born on April 11, 1964, in Laurel, Mississippi, the son of Marzell Windham Sr. and Ida Windham. He attended R4 Watkins School. Mellow spent most of his life in Mississippi, where worked at a poultry plant. He had been residing in Iowa for the past year.

He is survived by his daughter, Precious Strickland of Laurel, Mississippi; granddaughter, Jumesha Windham; and sister, Jacqueline Windham.

Mellow was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Windham.
