Mary Megan (Harrill) Jenkins, age 37, of Grinnell, Iowa, formerly of Washington, Iowa, died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 28, 2014, in Grinnell, Iowa.

Celebration of life services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2015, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home. The family will be present to receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Monday evening. Interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington at a later date. Megan was born February 14, 1977, in Anchorage, Alaska, the daughter of John David and Sandra Lee (Williams) Harrill Sr. She attended school in Ft. Myers, Florida.

Megan has been a resident of Washington, Iowa, for seventeen years before moving to Grinnell in October of 2014. She worked as a waitress at the Frontier Restaurant in Washington for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Jenkins of Washington, Iowa; five sons, Alex Lopez, T.J. Harrill, Logan Vonnahme, Skyler Jenkins, and Kolton Jenkins; step daughter, Alysha Jenkins; granddaughter, Daniea Jenkins; father, John David Harrill Sr. and wife Melissa of Ft. Myers, Florida; sister, Carol Vonnahme of Bradenton, Florida; brother, John David Harrill Jr. of Washington, Iowa; brother, Samuel Wesley Harrill and wife Dawn Banger of Washington, Iowa; sister, Christina Harrill of Washington, Iowa; sister, Stephanie Jones and husband Robert of Washington, Iowa; and sister, Kimberly Harrill of Ft. Myers, Florida.

Megan was preceded in death by her mother, one son, Taylor Harrill, and one aunt, Wanda Williams.
