Manuel Loney Baugher, age 78, of Ottumwa, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Pearl Valley Rehab of Washington in Washington, Iowa.

Manuel was born October 28, 1941 in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of Loney Manuel and Gladys Julie Blanche (Cox) Baugher. He attended school in Ottumwa. Manuel served honorably in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Mary Louise Davis on August 8, 1964 in Davenport, Iowa.

Manuel worked as a truck driver for the last 24 years. He volunteered at the Salvation Army and as a driver for the Ottumwa VA Clinic. Manuel enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and reading and he loved to tease people.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Baugher of Oskaloosa, IA: son, Mark Edward Baugher and wife Debbie of Albia, IA; daughter, Sherry Ann Coulter and husband Richard of Oskaloosa, IA; grandchildren: Loney Baugher and wife Audra, Latasha Baugher, and Katie, Morgan and Sonya Coulter; brother, Walter Leon Baugher of Ottumwa, IA; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters; and two brothers.
