Obituary

Lisa Kay Greiner, age 57, of Parkview Manor in Wellman, Iowa, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on December 30, 2025, at Washington County Hospital. She was born on March 13, 1968, in Washington, Iowa, the thirteenth and youngest child of Mary Margaret (Redlinger) Greiner and Everett Francis Greiner.

Lisa graduated from Keota High School in 1986 and devoted much of her working life to caring for others. She worked for many years as a CNA at Maplewood Manor in Keota and also served as a caretaker in Washington and Iowa City.

Lisa will be remembered for her warm heart, quick wit, and fun-loving personality. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was always ready with a joke or a smile to brighten someone's day. Lisa was also deeply generous, often giving to others despite her own modest means. Her kindness, compassion, and ability to make people laugh left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Lisa is survived by her siblings: Earl (Tanya) Greiner, Barb Warnke, John (Ann) Greiner, Dean (Deb) Greiner, Jeanie (Dick) Haifley, Marvin (Deb) Greiner, Milo (Denise) Greiner, Myron (Karen) Greiner, Steve (Becky) Greiner, Leslie (Candy) Greiner, and Nancy (Tom) Weber; her brother-in-law, Craig Buehneman; 30 nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Everett Greiner; her sister, Shirley Buehneman; her brother-in-law, Jim Warnke; and her nephews, Justin Greiner, Aaron Greiner, and Travis Greiner.
Lisa's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate and dedicated staff at Parkview Manor in Wellman for the exceptional care Lisa received during her time there. Your kindness, empathy, and genuine friendship brought comfort not only to Lisa, but to her family as well. A special thank you to Rachel, Brian, Jeremy, Alicia, and Josie for the warmth, dignity, and respect you showed her—you truly made a difference in her life.
