Lisa Renee (Jones) Cunningham, age 30, of Dyersville, Iowa, formerly of Washington, died Thursday, November 3, 2011 peacefully in her sleep at her residence.

Celebration of life services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 7th at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with Pastor Brian Fink officiating. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6th at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Private family interment will take place at a later date. Lisa was born April 18, 1981 in Minden, Nebraska the daughter of Steven and Kathryn (Richards) Jones. She attended school in Washington, Iowa, graduating in 1999. She graduated from Mt. Mercy College in Cedar Rapids with a B.A. in Graphic Design. On June 10, 2006 Lisa was united in marriage to Gordon Cunningham in Washington, Iowa. Lisa also lived in Dubuque, Iowa and Aurora, Illinois.

Lisa was an active member of River Life Ministries in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was interested in Martial Arts and held a black belt in Combat Ki. She also enjoyed gardening and crocheting and was a lover of animals.

Lisa is survived by her husband Gordon Cunningham; her parents Steve and Kathy Jones of Washington, Iowa; maternal grandparents Dale and Louise Richards of Washington, Iowa; paternal grandmother Arlene Jones of Gilmore City, Iowa; aunt Diane Havens and husband Randy of Montrose, Colorado; aunt Linda Bennett and husband Ron of Washington, Iowa; aunt Debbie Crahan of Humboldt, Iowa; and countless friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Darrel Jones, and uncle Jerry Crahan.
