Linda M. Tripp, age 79, died May 19, 2023 at Atrium Village Nursing Home in Hills, Iowa.

Interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday July 29, 2023. Memorials have been established to the Washington County Y for the aquatic pool. Online condolences may be sent at www.jonesfh.com . The Jones & Eden Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Linda was born September 2, 1943, in Neptune City, New Jersey, the daughter of George Maxwell and Ellen S. (Stenum) Tripp. She graduated from Washington High school in 1961. After high school, Linda attended and graduated from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with a degree in social work.

Linda lived most of her life in Washington, Iowa. While attending college, she worked in her father's Dairy Delight business in Washington. After college, she enjoyed working for Planned Parenthood and counseling women.

She is survived by three cousins, Trent Tripp of Glendale, Arizona; Todd Tripp of Fairway, Kansas; and Dr. Tamela Tripp of Paradise Valley, Arizona; and many friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, and her lifelong friends, Thomas Eicher and Delmar Yoder.
