Linda Rene (Vandenburg) Moeller, age 47, of Washington, Iowa, died Friday, September 22, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family.
Calling hours will begin noon Tuesday at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 Tuesday evening. Celebration of life services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 27th at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home with Rev. Gerry Kahler officiating. Linda was born October 15, 1969, in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Dean Richard and Susan Kay (Henderson) Vandenburg. She attended WACO Community Schools. Linda was united in marriage to Tom Moeller on May 16, 2015, in Richmond, Iowa. She was previously married to Nick Adam.
Linda has lived in Washington, Iowa, for the past two years. She had previously lived in Wayland, Coppock, Kalona, Wellman and Keota. She enjoyed spending time in her garden, camping and fishing. She was an avid reader and enjoyed baking. Linda loved her family and spending time with them and had a special place in her heart for all animals.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Moeller of Washington, Iowa; daughter, Jessica Vandenburg of Kalona, Iowa; son Jared Suddeth of Kalona, Iowa; son, Donovan Suddeth and wife Tangier of Washington, Iowa; step son, Spencer Moeller and fiance Halie Fankhauser of Washington, Iowa; step son, Dalton Moeller of Washington, Iowa; twin granddaughters, Ayla and Elaine Suddeth; one step grandson, Eli Moeller; mother, Susan Vandenburg of Kalona, Iowa; sister, Wanda White of Kalona, Iowa; brother, Richard Vandenburg and wife Melissa of Kalona, Iowa; sister, Kathy Gerdes and husband Steve of Ainsworth, Iowa; and sister, Peggy Strickler and husband Ron of Faribault, Minnesota. Linda is also survived by her mother and father-in-law, Donna and Bernard Moeller of Keota, Iowa; two sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; nine nephews and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dean Vandenburg; one brother-in-law and her grandparents.
