Linda S. Johnson, age 69, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Wellman following a lengthy illness.

Linda was born September 1, 1950 in Springdale, Arkansas, the daughter of Boyd and Verna (Carpenter) Bennett. She attended school in Springdale. Linda was united in marriage to Ernest Johnson on January 8, 1993 in Washington.

Linda was a homemaker and a housekeeper at local motels. She enjoyed her frequent trips to the Dairy Mart.

She is survived by her husband, Ernie Johnson of Washington, IA; son, Rick Bennett of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; daughter, Donna Lynch and husband Charles of Huntsville, Arkansas; son, Kyle Dean White of Iowa; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; mother, Verna Bennett of Harrison, Arkansas; and 5 brothers: Jimmy Bennett and wife Vinitta Bennett, Jerry Bennett, Roger Bennett, Randy Bennett and Terry Bennett all of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her father, Boyd Bennett.
