Lewis T. Freeman Sr., age 94, of Wellman, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Parkview Manor in Wellman.

Lewis was born on October 29, 1930, in Roff, Oklahoma, the son of Albert Pearl and Jeanette (Cathy) Freeman. He attended school in Oklahoma and later married Hrese Hanitos on June 27, 1949. Lewis proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Lewis spent most of his life in California and also lived in Las Vegas for several years before moving to Iowa in 2013. He worked as a machinist at Boeing until his retirement and then worked at a game table in Las Vegas. He loved playing golf and bowling.
Lewis is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth A. Nebel of Wellman, Iowa; daughter, Sherrye R. Freeman of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Janet L. Krauss of Wellman, Iowa; son, Lewis T. Freeman Jr. and wife, Marcia, of Florida; along with 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary; brother, Bud Freeman; and three sons-in-law: Paul Nebel, Alvin Krauss, and Leo Overton.
