Lessie Eugina Meyer, age 69, of Ainsworth, Iowa, formerly of Dowagiac, Michigan, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Washington County Hospital following a sudden illness.

Lessie was born July 1, 1944 in Bolivar, Tennessee the daughter of Thomas and Ruby (Vales) Stack. She attended school in Tennessee. She had previously resided in Dowagiac, Michigan, and moved to Ainsworth in September of 2012 to be with her daughter and family.

Lessie was a homemaker. She was previously a waitress and did factory work. She attended the Baptist Church in Sioux City, Iowa. Lessie enjoyed playing BINGO. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and watching them grow.

Lessie is survived by daughter JoAnn Bolding and husband Jim of Fulton, Ohio; daughter Trish Seubert and husband Tim and their two children of Bronson, Iowa; daughter Missy Brown and husband Jeff of Soudus, Michigan; son Fred Henslee and his child of Fulton, Ohio; daughter Mary Soto and husband Raunel Pedro Lopez Rodriguez and their six children and two grandchildren of Ainsworth, Iowa; and sister Phyllis Lane of Dowagiac, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Roscoe Stack; and sisters None Faye Rogers and Catherine Piedra.
