Leslie Hole, age 56, of Wayland, Iowa, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at her residence.

Celebration of life services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home with Pastor Ryan Meader officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. Interment will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery at a later date. Leslie was born August 20, 1964 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Marvin and Sharon (Wallace) Hole. She attended Deep Creek High School in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Leslie grew up in Hampton Roads, Virginia and moved to Wayland in 1993. She worked for Walmart in Washington and had previously worked at the McCleery Cumming Calendar Factory. Leslie was a member of the Washington County Genealogy Society and she enjoyed cleaning and restoring headstones.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Wells of Wayland, IA; grandchildren: Riagan Wells and Kiptyn Patterson; brother, Bryan (Dana) Hole of Washington, IA; sister, Joni Hole-Clemmer (Jon Clemmer) of Wayland, IA; niece, Alyssa Hole of Washington, IA; niece, Caitlyn Beard of Georgia; and many aunts, one uncle and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Cassidhe Patterson; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
