Kenneth P. "Kenny" Craff, age 67, of Wayland, died Friday, August 3, 2012 at his residence after a sudden illness.
Celebration of life services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Bieker officiating. Visitation will begin 12 noon Monday at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday evening. Kenneth Craff was born March 27, 1945 in Jefferson County, Iowa the son of Burley and Eva (Shafer) Craff. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1963. Kenny was united in marriage to Sharon Billingsley on October 10, 1981 in Brighton, Iowa.
Kenny had resided in Washington for all of his adult life. He was employed by the City of Washington for 32 years, and had previously worked at Crane Company.
Kenny attended Hope Lutheran Church in Brighton, Iowa. He enjoyed fishing and going to auctions searching for treasures. He enjoyed passing time by visiting with and making new friends.
Kenny is survived by son Jason Craff of Fort Pierce, Florida; daughter Kim Dean of Ainsworth, Iowa; four grandchildren: Jasmine Craff, Nicholas Craff, Amber and Brittney Dean; three step-children: Jim, Jason, and Sonya; sister Ruth Reighard and husband Keith of Washington, Iowa; one nephew and two nieces; nine great-nieces and nephews; as well as one great-great niece and one great-great nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sharon, in 1990.
