Kenneth Lowell Smith, 65, of Washington, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at his home in Washington.

A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington. Interment will be private. Kenneth was born August 19, 1949, in Arkansas the son of Emma (Rice) Smith. He graduated from high school in Arkansas and attended one year of college. Kenneth was united in marriage to Sandra Sines on December 30, 2011 in Washington, Iowa.

Kenneth served in the U.S. Navy. He was a truck driver and worked for ACH Foam Technologies since 2000. Kenneth loved history, basketball and airplanes. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed talking about his time in the Navy on the U.S. Barbie. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Sandra Davis Smith; children: Brianna Brown, Selena Smith, Carissa Jones and husband Ryan; step-children: Anthony Brock, Andrew Brock, Joshua Davis and wife Nikki; daughter-in-law, Brianne Banger; eleven grandchildren; one brother; Brother-in-law, Todd Sines; sister-in-law, Joyce Sines; and cousin, Pat Knerr and husband Merle.

He was preceded in death by his father.
