Justin Forrest Kindred, age 41, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, formerly of Washington, Iowa, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017 at his residence.

Celebration of life services will be held Friday, April 28, 2017 at Marr Park in Ainsworth, Iowa. Interment will be private. The Jones & Eden Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be sent for Justin's family through the web at www.jonesfh.com

Justin was born September 21, 1975 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Rick and Pam (Nicholson) Kindred. He loved animals and enjoyed the outdoors. Justin will be remembered for his great sense of humor and will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son, Gage of Washington, Iowa; daughter, Kassidy of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; father, Rick Kindred of Washington, Iowa; sister, Tara (Nicholson) Hayes and husband Jim of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; sister, Kisston Hillyer of Brighton, Iowa; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Justin was preceded in death by his mother, 2 grandmothers, 1 grandfather and 1 great-grandmother.

A memorial fund has been established to be used for funeral expenses at the Linn Area Credit Union, 3015 Blairs Ferry Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402. Checks should be made payable to Tara Nicholson and the memo should read Justin Kindred Memorial.
