Obituary
Julia A. Mason, age 50, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Julia was born December 4, 1974, in Fairfield, Iowa, the daughter of Luther L. "Butch" and Elizabeth G. (Simmons) Dillavou. She attended school in Washington and Fairfield. Julia was united in marriage to Mark Mason in 2022.
Julia lived most of her life in Washington, Iowa, where she worked at Hardee's, Wal Mart, the Ainsworth Four Corners Restaurant and at Burger King in Fairfield. She enjoyed fishing, spending time with family, playing cards and doing puzzles, especially the Word Find.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Mason of Washington, Iowa; daughter, Elizabeth Renee Mason of Washington, Iowa; brother, Anthony Clark; sister, Renee Lamb and husband Jerry of New London, Iowa; brother, Mark Dillavou and wife Marie of Fairfield, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents.
