Obituary
John Myron Martin, age 72, of Washington, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, IA.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington, IA with Rev. Bob Wollenberg officiating. Interment will be held at Indian Creek Cemetery in Columbus Junction, IA. A general memorial has been established. John was born January 30, 1944 in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Thomas and Denia M. (Krantz) Martin. He enjoyed listing to the radio, attending camp, and making crafts.
He is survived by his brother, Thomas Duane Martin of Washington, IA; sister, Alice Marie Martin of Washington, IA; sister, Judy Martin Snider of Leesburg, AL; sister, Sheri Martin Herlein of Council Bluffs, IA; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Glen Carl and Jimmy Dean Martin.
