James Lee "Jim" Nicholson, age 70, of Bullhead City, Arizona, formerly of Washington, Iowa, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 in Arizona following a lengthy illness.

James Lee Nicholson was born December 22, 1945 in Washington County, Iowa, the son of Clayton and Martha (Patterson) Nicholson. He graduated from Washington High School in 1963.

Jim worked as a computer programmer most of his life. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Jim was an avid hunter and loved his family.

Jim is survived by his son, Christopher Nicholson of Denver, Colorado; two grandsons; brother, Larry Nicholson and wife Phyllis of What Cheer, Iowa; brother, Mike Nicholson and wife Adriana of Charlottesville, Virginia; and sister, Sarah Weaver of Washington, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Susan Nicholson.
