Jennie Widmer, age 88, of Wayland, Iowa, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 at the M.L. McCreedy Home in Washington.

Celebration of life services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at the Eicher Mennonite Church in Wayland with Pastor Dave Schooley and Pastor Robert Hartzler officiating. Interment will take place at the Eicher Cemetery in Wayland. Memorials have been established for the Eicher Mennonite Church and Wayland Fire and Rescue. Jennie was born July 12, 1929, in Marion County, Iowa, the adopted daughter of Lena W. (Unternahrer) and Daniel D. Graber. She attended school in Wayland. Jennie was united in marriage to Jacob A. Widmer on April 4, 1976. She enjoyed embroidery and spending time with friends.
