Janice L. Sines, age 77, of Washington, Iowa, formerly of Ainsworth, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at the McCreedy Home in Washington.

Janice was born September 26, 1936 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of George and LaVon (Cue) Brelsford. She attended high school in Waterloo and married Paul Sines on May 23, 1959. Janice worked for Sheller Globe in Iowa City and Sines Upholstery. She also owned and operated the Ainsworth Drug Store and worked for Heinz for 24 years, retiring in 1999. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington.

Janice is survived by son, Tom Sines of Wayland, IA; son, Scott Sines of Missouri; daughter, Cindy Sines of Washington, IA; daughter, Sandy Davis of Washington, IA; son, Todd Sines of Wayland, IA; brother, Les Brelsford and wife Ruth of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1999 and her sister, Jean Poor.
