Ina ODell, age 89, of Washington, Iowa, formerly of Rainelle, West Virginia, died Monday, March 31, 2020, at the M.L. McCreedy Home in Washington, Iowa.

Ina was born November 22, 1930, in Squat-N-Dodge, West Virginia, the daughter of Robert and Osie (McClung) Walton. She attended school in West Virginia. Ina was united in marriage to James Lee Cook. They later divorced.
Ina has lived in Washington County since 1990. She worked as a seamstress and a homemaker. Ina enjoyed traveling and going on long walks. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by six children: Carol Russo of Chetek, Wisconsin; Donald Hedrick; James Fair and wife Carolyn of Oil City, Pennsylvania; Bruce Miller and wife Lisa of Wayland, Iowa; Charlotte Cook of Pensacola, Florida; Sharon Flud and husband Bob of Brighton, Iowa; 26 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; five siblings: Vaden "Mac" Walton, of Fredricksburg, Virginia; Elsie Carathers and husband Leon of Covington, Virginia; Eldon Walton and wife Jean of Covington, Virginia; Elmer Walton and wife Tammy of Hopewell, Virginia; Elva Clark and husband Harold of Covington, Virginia; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ina was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Ronald Hedrick and Vernon Cook; one sister, Frances Osborne; and one brother, Samuel "Jack" Walton.
