Holly Lynn McCall, age 34, of Iowa City, Iowa, formerly of Washington, Iowa, died Tuesday, July 11, 2023, following a sudden illness.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home with Pastor Ben Linville officiating. Everyone is invited to celebrate Holly's life at the McCall family farm, located at 1854 190th Street in Washington, Iowa, from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2023. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Coralville Public Library or the Washington Public Library. Holly was born November 19, 1988, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Kelly (Craig) McCall. She graduated from Washington High School in 2007 and later attended the University of Northern Iowa.

Holly lived in Iowa City for the past 10 years where she worked in the grocery department at Wal-Mart. She loved going to the Coralville Library, going to afternoon movies at the theater, and taking walks in the park near her residence. Holly was a HUGE Harry Potter buff and HUGE Lego fan. She was the family go to person for problem solving. Holly loved spending time and playing with her nephew.

She is survived by her parents, Carl & Kelly McCall of Washington, Iowa; brother, Jason S. McCall of Iowa City, Iowa; twin sister, Heather (Ethan) Roth of Pella, Iowa; nephew, Owen Roth; paternal grandparents, Richard & Mary McCall of Washington, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Zane & Hazel Craig.
