Holly Sue Glisan, age 53, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020 due to a sudden illness.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Elm Grove Cemetery. A general memorial has been established. Holly was born October 11, 1966 in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of William and Colleen (Kerr) Glisan. She attended school in Washington.

Holly lived most of her life in Washington and previously worked for McCleery Cumming Calendar Factory, Kalona Plastics and ACH, and most recently worked for various contractors in the area. She enjoyed gardening, horticulture, crafts, mushroom hunting and being outdoors. Holly especially enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Brison, and her dog, Biggie.

She is survived by her son, Brandon White and wife Amanda of Keota, IA; son, Justin Hay of Dubuque, IA; daughter, Andrea Hay of Washington, IA; grandson, Brison White; siblings: Carla Jasper and husband Dan of Cape Charles, VA; Rick Kindred of Washington, IA; Tom Kindred of Washington, IA; Brenda Kindred of Cedar Rapids, IA; David Kindred of Cedar Rapids, IA; Julie Walters of Lone Tree, IA; Gail Tinnes and husband Dale of Wellman, IA; Shelley Glisan of Washington, IA; Jim Glisan; Ronnie Glisan; and Larry Glisan and wife Jody of Dallas City, IL.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Colleen in 1998 and her father, William in 2000.
