Glen B. Miller, age 87, of Kalona, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Windmill Manor Nursing Home in Coralville, Iowa.

Celebration of life services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home with Pastor Darryl Carr officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friday morning. Interment will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington, Iowa. A general memorial has been established. Glen Bernard Miller was born January 8, 1929 in Washington County, Iowa, the son of Glen and Christle (Messinger) Miller. He attended school in Washington County. Glen was united in marriage to Nancy Carolyn Luckey on January 20, 1950 in Kalona, Iowa.

Glen was a lifelong farmer. He resided and farmed in Solon, Iowa until his retirement when he and Nancy relocated to Wellman, Iowa. After the death of his wife in 2000, Glen moved to Kalona, Iowa. He enjoyed woodworking, long car rides and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Jackie Heitshusen and husband Tom of Williamsburg, Iowa; daughter, Carolyn Miller and Joe Ruva of Iowa City, Iowa; daughter, Cheryl Fratzke and husband Jack of North Liberty, Iowa; son, Dennis Miller and wife Chris of Solon, Iowa; daughter, Diane Borseth and husband Lonnie of Iowa City, Iowa; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Josephine Havel and husband Terry of Lone Tree, Iowa.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and one daughter, Judy.
