Geraldine A. "Gerry" Andrews, age 85, of Columbus Junction, Iowa, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Columbus Junction, Iowa following a lengthy illness.

Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, at the Columbus City Cemetery in Columbus City, Iowa, with Pastor Steve Cauley and Pastor Cheryl Hollich officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30 until 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Columbus City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Columbus Community Senior Center in Columbus Junction following burial. In lieu of flowers, a general memorial has been established. Geraldine was born October 5, 1927, in Waterloo, Iowa the daughter of Floyd and Esther (Shirley) Myers. She attended school in Rowley, Iowa. Gerry was married to Delbert Wilson on January 27, 1945 in Independence, Iowa. She was later united in marriage to Charles Andrews on December 27, 1972 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Gerry worked at Collins Radio in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and then at H. J. Heinz Company in Muscatine until her retirement in 1992.

Gerry was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Muscatine. She enjoyed crafts, embroidery, and tending to her garden and flowers.

Gerry is survived by ten children: Adam Andrews of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Franklin Wilson and wife Edna of Remsen, Iowa; Phyllis Kurz and husband Glen of Muscatine, Iowa; Dee Ortiz and husband Julian of Conesville, Iowa; Jeanna Fagle and husband Ken of Center Point, Iowa; Steve Andrews and wife Janice of Vinton, Iowa; Wayne Andrews and wife Peggy of Marion, Iowa; Abbie Andrews of Center Point, Iowa; Sheri Wiltsey and husband Randy of Center Point, Iowa; and Harold Andrews of Center Point, Iowa; nineteen grandchildren; and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.

Gerry was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Charles in 2012; one son, Rex Wilson in 1952; sister, Shirley Hills; brother, Rudy Myers; and sister, Eunice Christian.
