Flora May "Flo" Zanger, age 75, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Pearl Valley Rehab of Washington.

Flo was born June 12, 1945 in Fairfield, Iowa, the daughter of Forest and Velma (Yeoman) Cline. She attended school in Fairfield. Flo was united in marriage to Duane Chance in 1963 in Washington, Iowa. They later divorced.

Flo worked for Carlos O'Kelly's Restaurant and other various jobs. She spent much of her time caring for her children and grandchildren. Flo enjoyed crocheting, coloring and spending time with her pets.

She is survived by her children: John Chance of Washington, IA; Deanna Chance of Iowa City, IA; Brandon Chance and wife Kim of Washington, IA; and Nicole Gibson of Iowa City, IA; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Raymond Cline and wife Diana of Iowa City, IA; Harold Cline of Washington, IA; Roger Cline and wife Susan of Iowa City, IA; and Esther Evans of Washington, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Melinda Chance; grandson, Clinton Fankhauser; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Chance.
